I am working towards our first release however we aren’t there yet. If you’d like to get messy with the code it is hosted on launchpad and you can use this guide to help you build the game.

The code is licensed as GPL version 3. We currently haven’t put out any binary releases as not enough features have been placed into the game to make it worth while to get any user feedback. There is currently a list of stuff to do. If you have any problems getting the code or building it then post on our forums.

    I have followed hardwar since 1994 when it was called ‘moth’.on gremlin devnet forums.my only objection was that the videos (with some questionable content) detracted from the freeform open ended nature of the game.if I could develop hardwar I would only add the following things-levels,as your moth progressess up the technology ladder with many incremental upgrades such as engine,power and rudder that when maxed out allow you to progress to higher level craters which are richer and more affluent with higher tech moths with bigger power bases and heavier weapons.

    I too feel like the story often got in the way of an ‘Elite’ style open ended game. But without the story, their may not be enough to sustain a game.
